as we know， you have to learn how to fly much more independently instead of under your parents’ considerate protection when you get into college， which also means you will e across enormous questions that should be solved by yourself. from my point of view， those main problems can fall into three parts.
first of all， the plicated relationship. for one thing， you have to know how cultural differences function in your relationship and respect them. in addition， college students spend less time studying together owing to different courses’ choosing， which requires us to devote more energy to building relationship. for the other thing， it is also vital to municate with your parents often by using mobile phones or other tools.
secondly， the temptations. the college serves us a more relaxed environment mixed with other temptations such as the internet， alcohols and so on. what’s more， the college teachers won’t pel you to study like before， you doze off or play cell phone in class， and you flee up the morning class because you get up too late. such too frequent behaviors will cripple your passion and enthusiasm towards life， so it is essential for us to resist these temptations and insist pursuing our own goals.
thirdly， the balance between study and work. most of us will choose to take a part time job to earn the extra money or just to exercise ourselves. but it is significant to keep a relatively balanced relationship between them since i always regard the study as our main task， so my principle is adjusting work to follow the schedule of study.
in conclusion， whatever issues we meet or miseries we suffer from， confront the hash reality head on， what we can do is remembering the past， living in the present and looking forward to the future.

Life is a box of chocolateyou never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings the caution courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example I changed my major when I became a postgraduate. After the choicedays have been harsh for me.
I cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. Leo Tolstoy once said, everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.
He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand that changes the world or benefits all of mankind example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!
In my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. As ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. But we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.
If each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world!
So please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence not only you, but those around you too, especially our children …and perhaps more importantly…our planet!

Friendship means being friendly to each other or making friends with oneanother. Human beings are social animals. They do not live in need each other both physically and emotionally.
However, some people distort friendship by forming small groups that areharmful to others, or even to the whole community. In university some studentsfrom the same city or province form an association to help each other. But suchassociations often exclude students from other parts of the country, and thus donot promote friendship in a broad sense.
True and lasting friendship is based on a more solid foundarien. Realfriends share the same ideals. While marching toward their common objective,they help each other. If one makes a mistake, his friend will not hesitate topoint it out for him, because he knows the frank criticism will help him. Whatwe need is this type of genuine friendship.
You have a world of opportunity in front of you, and it is for you to decide what to do with this platform that you’ve worked so hard to earn.
No matter what field you enter after graduation, you have the opportunity to use your gifts to make a difference in the world.
This can feel daunting, at the outset of your post-Stanford life. Some of you may know exactly what contribution you want to make in the world, while others may still be searching for your way to make an impact.
But whatever you do, whatever profession you pursue or journey you take – whether you become a teacher or a community leader, a lawyer or a physician, an engineer or an artist, or a scholar or a scientist, or a mother or father, a caregiver to the next generation – whatever you make of your life and the opportunities before you, I hope you will use your gifts to change the world for the better.
Having a platform also comes with a responsibility. It requires an ongoing process of self-examination and a continual return to your guiding values.
You may find, at times, that the path forward is unclear. Or you may realize, in hindsight, that you have made missteps along the way.

I am so stressful when I stand befor a lot of people ,so it Is hard for me to make a speech in public. In order to overcome my drawback ,I chose the class that you teach .the first time I met you ,I found you are so kind to us ,what is more ,you are patience .no matter how bad the speech we made ,you always encourage us to go ahead. Oneday My parterner illed ,so he did not keep me company to the class .so I was alone . but we had a conversation ,I could do nothing but to read it myself ,by that time ,you asked me to make the conversation with the girl who Is behind me .and you told me that a boy should be more i….what you said give me a deep impression and I know the next time what I supposed to do .
what I want to talk is more than what I have talked .
the class you taught Is called “spoken english ”.this is a pratical class. Many people interested in it and decide to learn it .as it is know to all ,almost of us have a poor spoken level. So it is hard for you to encourage us to practice our spoken English . however ,you told us that all of us should make at least a speech at the end of the semester in the first class. Besides, we also have to make several conversations with our parterner. Though some students were disagree with you ,but in my view, you have made a wise decision.
In our class , first ,we will have enough time for our speech. In general, every class we would have four classmates to give us their speech. of course ,some speech is pretty good ,the student could make his idea clear and prounouce well. But most of the speech is just so so. but you inspired us everytime.
Second ,we will learn some useful sentence for our spoken english , we usually have a conversation in this part. Third ,we will watch a video. Sometimes , we will have a short story which is meaningful in the blackboard ,then you will help us to learn something from it . every week , I was very glad to have your class for the sake of you charming .
In here , I want to tell you that you have done a good job to us ,I am proud of you . in fact ,most teachers in your position are just complish their job ,you will get a good grade no matter how you really learn in his or her class . however ,in my mind ,you are different .first and formost, you are responsible to your class .that is to say , you try your best to help us improve our spoken English . and you always prepared for the class .so we could learn something new in your class ,this is the reason why I am so interest in this class. Then ,you were a wise men for you know a lot .in your class ,we not barely learn English ,but we also learn something else . for example ,we would know the custome in other country or something about Chinese history .last but not least , you are kind and patience .
