The boy tudent in our cla were preparing to run for monitor. Hearing the new, we girl were full of iateret and curioity. We were in bigh pirit and went to liten to their competltive peech. We decided to put our acred vote to the mot uitable peron after careful conideration.

The firt one who tood up to peak wa Yin Xing, who wa very active in phyical and recreational activitie. He pledged to enrich our chool life by leading u in inging and dancing and playing game.

The peeche went on. My eye fell on Jiang Xin, who at in a corner, litening attentively. That boy wa quiet and alway readyto help other in their tudie. He could play baketball and dance gracefully. I aked him why he did not run for monitor. He aid he wa no good. Hearing u talking, omeone houted,"Jiang Xin, why not join in and run for monitor?" Jiang Xin tood up. embarraed,"I am no good. If anyone i in need of me, I am ready to help. That' all."

The time had come for u to count the vote. And to my delight ,Jiang Xin received the mot vote and wa elected monitor.
